Site Discovery is new technology designed to all but eliminate site connection & setup barriers. With Site Discovery, client applications can seamlessly identify sites in the vicinity of their current location & securely connect to them using only a PIN. This technology enables machines to come and go as required by logistical requirements on site. Once connected using Site Discovery, work data can be immediately published to the cloud and securely assocaited with the site, even if the site has not been created in the cloud yet.
Site Discovery is Sitelink3D's geo-location service. It is used to provide easy access to a site for machine operators. When a machine operator arrives at a construction site, the GPS position is used to locate nearby sites. Site access is currently achieved with an authorization PIN. The Site Discvery service issues JWT tokens that authorize the machine operator for activity approved by the PIN used.
